Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Revorian, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Revorian is an AI-powered tool that tailors your existing CV/resume to match specific job descriptions. The service generates reformatted and reworded versions of your CV, and for Pro users, an accompanying cover letter, as downloadable PDFs.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (CVs, resumes). By uploading content, you grant Revorian a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, process, store, analyze, and derive insights from your content for the purposes of: providing and improving the service, developing new features, generating aggregated and anonymized analytics, training internal systems, and any other legitimate business purpose. We do not claim ownership of your content, but this license survives account deletion for any anonymized or aggregated data already derived from your content.

4. Accuracy and honesty

Revorian is designed to reframe and reword your existing experience — not to fabricate it. However, AI-generated output (including CVs and cover letters) may contain errors, unintended changes, hallucinated content, formatting issues, or inaccuracies. The AI may occasionally add, alter, or misrepresent information from your original CV. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before submitting it to employers or any third party. Revorian is not liable for any inaccuracies, fabrications, or quality issues in generated content. By using the service, you acknowledge that AI output requires human review and that you accept full responsibility for any content you choose to use. Revorian is a document formatting and generation tool only — it does not guarantee interviews, job offers, callbacks, or any specific employment outcome.

5. Acceptable use

• You must provide accurate information in your base CV.
• You may not upload content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or that violates any third party's rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights).
• You may not upload content containing malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
• You may not use the service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive resumes or cover letters.
• You may not attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
• You may not use automated tools to access the service beyond normal use.

You are solely responsible for all content you upload to Revorian. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice. We may report illegal content or activity to the relevant authorities.

6. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Revorian. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete all associated data.

7. Plans and billing

Revorian offers three plans: a Free plan (1 tailored CV per week), a Starter plan ($9/week, 50 tailored CVs per week with cover letters), and a Pro plan ($19/week, 200 tailored CVs per week with cover letters and multiple base CVs). Prices and limits are subject to change with notice. Unused generations do not roll over between weeks.

8. Limitation of liability

Revorian is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated CVs or cover letters will be error-free, professionally adequate, or suitable for any specific job application. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: missed job opportunities, rejected applications, inaccurate or fabricated CV content, poor formatting, service downtime, or reliance on AI-generated output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Revorian, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, including any content you generate and submit to third parties.

10. Third-party services

Revorian relies on third-party AI providers (Anthropic) to generate content. We are not responsible for any failures, errors, or changes in behavior of third-party services. Service availability may be affected by third-party outages.

11. Refunds

Paid subscriptions (Starter and Pro) are generally non-refundable. If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not used the service to generate any CVs or cover letters during that period. By generating content during the 14-day period, you expressly consent to the service being fully performed and acknowledge the loss of your right of withdrawal. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, contact support and we will work to resolve it.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at antoine@revorian.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution in the courts specified in the Governing Law section below. You agree that any claim must be brought individually and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Revorian.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Quebec, Canada. By using the service from outside Canada, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in Canada and agree that local laws of your jurisdiction may not apply.
